Electricity

Have you ever been in a dark place? Yeah, we’ve all been in a dark room. We flip that light switch on and never give it a second thought. What about emotionally or spiritually? That is a darkness that doesn’t feel as simple as flipping a switch. Our switch is our praise. Praise makes the enemy flee. The enemy brings darkness. The light of God will override the darkness of the devil. 

Just as the light switch in a dark room brings light only if the electricity is working properly, our spiritual light switch will only work if our spiritual electricity is intact. Our praise, our worship, our prayer life, our feeding on His word, our electricity, overrides the darkness the devil spreads. Our light, Jesus’ light in us, will override the darkness. Be the Light the world needs.
